Platoro Reservoir
The Platoro Reservoir is the highest manmade reservoir in North America,
if not the highest in the world.
The reservoir itself is hundreds of feet deep in some places,
and trolling out in the lake can be quite an experience.
The reservoir now fills the former Conejos Riverbed Canyon for several miles.
These pictures were all taken from the upper inlet of the reservoir.
